Paducah has nearly two dozen parks with Bob Noble Park off Park Avenue as the largest.

Go Swimming or Splashing

PoolNoble Park Pool has diving boards, two water slides, a spraypad area, concessions, and plenty of lounge chairs and shade. 

Spraygrounds - The Robert Coleman Spraypark located at 10th and Caldwell Streets and the Pat & Jim Brockenborough Rotary Health Park are available at no charge and provide several spraypark obstacles for kids to enjoy.


Test Your Skills at the Skatepark

The Skatepark located on the west side of Noble Park is a concrete area with ramps for skateboarders and bicyclists.  Helmets are required. 


Play Golf

In addition to privately operated golf courses in the area, there is a public golf courses, Paxton Park.

Play Disc Golf

Paducah offers an 18-hole disc golf course at Stuart Nelson Park set in a wooded area which can be challenging.

Play with your Dog

Let your dog off its leash at the Noble Park Dog Parks located at 2801 Park Avenue. The parks are adjacent to the Anna Baumer Building and behind the amphitheatre. The park has two large fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs in addition to accessible parking, water, and shelters.

Independence Park located at the corner of Lone Oak Road and Alben Barkley Drive (114 Forest Circle) offers a fenced dog park area.

Watch a Ball Game

Doc Hideg Field at Brooks Stadium hosts many college and professional baseball teams.  You can also find local youth and adults at one of the fields located at Stuart Nelson Park or Noble Park.


Launch a Boat or Dock a Boat

The Ohio River Boat Launch located at North 6th and Burnett Streets offers boaters an 82-space parking lot, a five to six lane wide boat ramp, and a courtesy dock.  Boaters also can launch from the ramp located through the Broadway floodwall opening.

Also, on the riverfront is the 340-foot Paducah Transient Boat Dock which provides boaters amenities such as fuel, power, water, and a sewer pumpout station.  Boater can stop for a few hours or a few days to enjoy Paducah.
